In East Africa, there are high rates of violence in homes, child neglect, and lack of positive discipline which are harming children’s physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. Parenting with Love Dialogues is our transformative initiative designed to nurture stronger and healthier families by empowering parents with practical and heart-centered parenting talks. Rooted in empathy, positive discipline and effective communication, these dialogues create safe spaces where caregivers can learn, share and grow together. We have reached 1,048 parents across diverse communities, offering in-person sessions that are culturally sensitive and deeply relatable on how to support their children’s emotional development, and break cycles of punitive parenting with compassion and care.
