We help children in under-resourced schools and communities fall in love with reading by turning books into playful tools for learning. Through co-teaching and literacy clubs, children grow into confident thinkers and problem-solvers ready to shape their futures. To date, we have partnered with 169 schools—including refugee communities—reaching more than 48,302 learners. Our 12 beacon schools in Mukono District serve as hubs for literacy exchange and innovation, inspiring a culture of reading across classrooms and communities. By engaging children with books as joyful companions, we empower them to move from learning to read to reading to learn—becoming lifelong learners and changemakers.
